September 9, 2022 – Maine’s Justice Action Group is pleased to announce that it will present a Rural Access to Justice Summit on October 26, 2022. This Summit will convene participants from the judicial branch, rural practitioners, the University of Maine School of Law, the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, and others to discuss the need for more attorneys in rural Maine, the benefits and challenges of a rural law practice, and systemic changes and resources that can support rural lawyers in Maine. This presentation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be presented via Zoom. Registration will open September 12, 2022.
